The Computer Aided Design Laboratory (CADL) was established in 1983 with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the erstwhile Department of Electronics (presently Department of Information Technology under Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), Government of India to foster research and manpower development in the emerging areas of micro-electronics.
CADL today, is a well equipped laboratory engaged in state of the art research in all aspects of System-on-Chip (SoC) design for applications spanning media streaming and network processing.
